| RULES AND REGULATIONS |

| 1. |
The entries for all the categories have to reach the office of ART &
ARTISTES' (I) PVT. LTD. before 30th November, 2009. No entries will
be accepted after the specified date under any circumstances. |

| 2. |
Entry form must be complete in all respects in terms of all details required.
CD must have full AUDIO clipping of the song. IT IS ADVISABLE TO
LABEL the Audio CD appropriately.
Label each Audio CD with: Title of entry, Category Number, Title of
Song /Album & name of nominee. |

| 3. |
DVD would be required for film background score award & lyricist of
the year award. |
| |
|
| 4. |
All postage/courier charges must be pre-paid. No materials will be returned
and the materials submitted will become the property of Art & Artistes' (I)
Pvt. Ltd. |

| 5. |
The entries will ONLY be accepted from the nominating parties as mentioned
in the guidelines form |
| |
|
| 6. |
The nominating party is allowed to send a maximum of 2 entries for each
award & can compete for a maximum of 7 awards across all categories. |

| 7. |
The details in the form should be typed or handwritten. (IN CLEAR
AND READABLE CAPITAL LETTERS ONLY). |

|
| 8. |
Entries once submitted and accepted by Art & Artistes' will be
considered final. No alterations, replacements will be accepted after
submission. |

| 9. |
Separate entries received for the same album/ song for the same award,
will be treated as single entry.. |
| |
|
| 10. |
Each nomination must be on a seperate nomination form. No Multiple
Entries on one form will be accepted. If more forms are required it can be
photocopied or downloaded from www.imaindia.in by following the
instructions mentioned on the website. |

| 11. |
The Jury decisionwill be final and binding for all the entrants. |
| |
|
| 12. |
Each entry must be submitted on seperate Audio CD / DVD. |
| |
|
| 13. |
The lyrics should be submitted as a hard copy for the Best Lyricist
entry. Submitted Audio CD & DVD should include the song in its
entirety and enough additional footage before and after the song, for
bollywood entries, to give the judges a sense of its context. |

| 14. |
Please ensure the entry forms sent are COMPLETE with all required details. |
| |
|
| 15. |
The jury and the governing body of the Indian Music Academy Awards
reserves the right not to award a winner in any particular category, if the
quality of the entries does not meet up to the required standards. |
