Music released by a Music Company in the calendar year, 1st December
2008 to 30th November 2009. |

|
In each category, Bollywood and individual artistes (Singles / Albums) will
compete with each other, except wherever mentioned. |

|
|
Entries sent should be of original songs only and not cover versions. |
| |
|
|
For all the Indian categories, the lyrics for all entries should be primarily in Hindi. |
| |
|
|
English content should be entered under the Western Music category. |
| |
|
|
The IMA Awards are open to music released in India only. Music
licensed into India is not eligible to compete. |
| |
|
|
The entries need to be supported by certification of release by competent
authority in the year of eligibility. |
| |
|
|
The last date for submitting the entries for all the categories
November 2009. |
| |
|
|
Employees of A&A, Sponsors & DTTIPL are not allowed to compete in
the awards. |
| |
|
|
There is no entry fee for nominations. |
